after getting sand and sea water in all my cracks and all over my omd-em5, we Bothe got rinsed off in the shower, took out the batteri first. Camera still works fine to this day,

  • But I hope that this photo doesn't show the moment when you both fell into the water! :-) I can only confirm the seemingly indestructible aspect of Olympus equipment - from waterproof to falling from waist height on asphalt. The worst part was some scratches on the case!
