I found these group of trees in the right light circumstances and was able to get a composition framed with lots of contrast and details which for me, was attractive and inspirational to make, and the character of the trees could be brought out in such a way that they do justice to them..

In my opinion, this image is on a par with the great classics of Edward Westen, Paul Strand, Albert Renger-Patzsch and how the classic landscape photographers were all called ..... Why didn't you submit it to the contest?
