you know; those airs along the runways in France, were you can hang out and rest a while and eat something.. I mean you airs .. isn't here the air apart preprocessed ? or maybe the blue darkened and the clouds with highlights and whites a bit reduced ? or yellow filter used ? etc.

Oh, that's what you mean! Yes, some things have been manipulated in this picture, nothing has been retouched or eliminated. But it must have taken me half an hour to edit it with the software. The sky blue is darkened, the contrast reduced. I also blurred the upper half of the picture a bit ..... yes, some pictures are really adapted to my vision. And that takes time, but it's also fun for me and it definitely makes a better result in the end!
that 'blurring" can one manage that within the same pre-processing software like CaptureOne or do you need another 2nd software like Photoshop to do so ?

What I called "blurring" is practically the opposite of the function "sharpen", sth. like "de-sharpen". Any decent software can do thatIn this photo I wanted the river and the sky to be slightly out of focus. When I took the photo, I set the hyperfocal distance to about 3 metres anyway, so that the sharpness falls off towards the back ....
aha.. when you take the picture you set the sharpening punt more to the foreground than you usually do.. (like I did in what you first mentioned as an Eggleston-photo..(with toilet box).
But resharpening concerns the whole picture (you can't adjust any distance settings in this pre-processing stage.. correct ? Because right in this case I don't see any resharpening off the foreground.. How come that this foreground area is whole sharp ?

Sorry, Rob! I do not understand, what you mean by "resharpening"And what do you mean by "in this pre-processing stage"? I do not understand what your question is about .....
