A mating pair of Cassida vibex, a Tortoise Beetle photographed on Knapweed in my garden. This is an in camera stack of fifteen images taken in natural light and uncropped.

  • Brilliant capture! I have so far only found Cassida nobilis, hoping to find some of the other local species at a site near to me, turning over every host plant leaf but no luck!
