Hello to you - friends of photography!
I started with photography in the analog times with color slides and black&white films. I did all the darkroom processing for B&W by myself.
B&W is - as you can see - my „favorite thing“…
My digital B&W editing process is rather small - I just use the informations stored in the RAW.
I do not copy things nor change elements of the picture. (Only stamping away small mistakes or distortions.) So - a typical editing process and final file storages for a picture is done in a few minutes.
I use CaptureOne for my complete editing process (and sometimes DXO and the former NiK-collection…)
In the analog times I used Nikon and then the Leica system. Nikon again for transferring to the digital photography. One day I saw someone walking out of an historic site with a tiny and exciting piece of gear hanging around his neck… Olympus OMD!
I checked this system and sold all the Nikon stuff. For me it is the ultimate system because of the real high quality in combination with the small size and it’s lightweight.
I already started printing pictures in size of A3 - love it! (Canon Pro100)
Maybe the next step is an A2plus printer…because my E-M1III has this absolute amazing Hires resolution option…
Michael
